Holy Father Grant Me Your Mercy

April 26, 2015 By M2

Holy Father Grant Me Your Mercy

Holy Father, grant me your mercy,
I stand before you, bended knee I pray,
Cleanse my body, come and set me free.

Seeking eternal life, on this journey,
Give me strength, from thee I will not stray,
Holy Father, grant me your mercy.

Empty promises hang from the tree,
Fallen Angel, temps me, death, decay.
Cleanse my body, come and set me free.

Holy Spirit, save my soul, be with me,
Lead me from sin, with you I stay,
Holy Father, grant me your mercy.

Christ my brother, on the cross, dying for me,
Freed the world of sin, judgment day,
Cleanse my body, come and set me free.

God my Father, lead me to salvation,
Let me see the life you made for me,
Holy Father, grant me your mercy,
Cleanse my body, come and set me free.

Grandpa

I miss your smile,
Your voice,
Your laugh.
I miss your guidance,
Stories about your childhood,
And how you put God first.

I miss riding in the wagon,
Friday Night Football,
Camping in Yosemite,
Or just anywhere with you.

I miss Sunday and grandpa’s,
Running around in the yard.
I miss walking to Balboa’s,
And burgers at Jack’s.

I miss helping you in the yard,
Placing missalettes in the pews.
I miss ice cream at Thrifty’s,
But mostly I miss you.
